NADRA, Health deptt sign MoU for biometric verification of drug addicts

Lahore Pakistan (Correspondent Voice Of Germany): An MoU has been signed between Punjab Health Department and NADRA for biomatric verification of unattended people and drug addicts. The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department which was witnessed by Minister Specialized Healthcare Dr Javed Akram, Secretaries Health Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi and Ali Jan Khan amongst others. Dr Javed Akram, minister health, said that today an historic agreement is signed which will help identification and verification of unidentified dead bodies, besides drug addicts. He said that under the agreement all data of DHQ, THQ hospitals would be made online with the help of NADRA. Dr Jamal Nasir, minister PSHD said that we act like a team to look after the patients in a better way. He said that NADRA has huge human data of the world which could be used for research purposes with a view to redefining economic mechanism. He extended felicitations to the health team for signing an MoU with the NADRA. The Secretaries specialised healthcare and primary & secondary healthcare also spoke on the occasion.
