Fully Funded Scholarships Announced for SSC Toppers

Financial aid has long been a hallmark of Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), helping to ensure a diverse campus community while also highlighting the importance of providing equitable access to higher education to those from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and geographical regions of the country.
Current economic challenges make this assistance more essential than ever, especially as families across Pakistan face persistent inflation, higher utility bills, and rising household costs. Against this backdrop, parents as well as prospective students face difficult choices, even as financial pressures limit opportunities for those looking to higher education to expand economic opportunity and shape a better future.
Forman is acutely aware of these challenges and remains firmly committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from continuing their education. It also backs up this commitment with tangible support: nearly one in three Forman students are either on scholarship or receive some form of financial aid. Indeed, Forman graduates are among the strongest supporters of this assistance, having built a strong legacy of both merit scholarships and needs-based assistance via the active support and engagement of the Formanites Alumni Association (FAA).
Guided by Forman’s enduring motto ("By love serve one another”), the Formanites Alumni Association recently announced the launch of a Fully Funded Merit Scholarship program made available to the top three position holders in the SSC Board, as per eligibility criteria developed by the Association. Funded by Forman alumni, this prestigious award covers both tuition fees and hostel accommodation.
Widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s premier institutions of higher education with a long-standing record of academic excellence, service, and leadership, this new initiative is rooted in a belief among Forman graduates that others should have access to the same opportunities that they themselves received. It also aims to further expand an already impressive alumni list in which Forman graduates have excelled in many fields including the judiciary, medicine, law, engineering, business, academics, and military service, among others.
Looking ahead, the Formanites Alumni Association remains firmly committed to promoting merit, expanding access, and nurturing future leaders, viewing this new initiative as yet another way to support the next generation while also investing in Pakistan’s long-term future success.
